Visual Designers for Jetfire

The Jetfire language is patterned after C#. Since our goal is to make it simple for power users to design programs, a visual designer is necessary to achieve this goal. This page introduces the reader to a set of Visual Designers.

Form Maker
Quiz Maker
Poll Maker

Form Maker

The Form Maker is used to build programs with properties. This is quite useful for web pages that display a list of events or other information. Check out Ontario Wrestling Events page for a program that fits this criteria.

A form is a document with spaces (fields) in which to write or select, for a series of documents with similar contents. The documents usually have the printed parts in common, possibly except for a serial number. Advantages of forms include:

  • one has to write less (while the printing is almost universally done in some automatic way)
  • one is told or reminded what information has to be supplied
  • uniformity, for convenience in processing.

Quiz Maker

The Quiz Maker is used to build quizzes. Imagine deploying a quiz in minutes. You design the quiz, provide the answers and deploy the quiz. Users fill in the quiz and the quiz is immediately marked.

A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which the players attempt to answer questions correctly. Quizzes are also brief assessments used in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, and/or skills.

Poll Maker

The Poll Maker is used to build polls. Imagine deploying a survey/poll in minutes. Users fill in the survey and the Survey Tally Web Part show the results in real-time.

An opinion poll is a survey of public opinion from a particular sample. Opinion polls are usually designed to represent the opinions of a population by conducting a series of questions and then extrapolating generalities in ratio or within confidence intervals.
